QURAN PROTESTS IN AFGHANISTAN

Thousands of people have marched through the streets of the Afghan cities of Kandahar and Jalalabad in new protests in response to the burning of Holy Quran in the US last month. This incident took place in Florida on 20 March under the supervision of Pastor Terry Jones. Muslims through all over the world are already protesting against all this happening. Non Muslims are continuously doing these type of things firstly they organize burn Quran day which was not supported by the US President and now this thing happened , people in Pakistan said if anything again happen in the future then they will set churches and the holy places of Non Muslims on fire.  

                                          

These protests comes after 14 people which includes seven UN staff who were killed in violence after similar protests on Friday. On the other hand US President Barack Obama described the killings as "outrageous" and the burning of Holy Quran as "intolerance and bigotry". These protests are getting prolong and ten more people died in the same kind of protests in Kandahar on Saturday where dozens more were injured. Today in Kandahar people marched to the main UN office and some also reports were given for the smaller protests in two other districts of Kandahar province. The authorities of Afghanistan have blamed the Taliban for the violence whereas Taliban has rejected the accusation.

Now the protests have spread to the eastern city of Jalalabad where today many people have peacefully blocked a main road.According to an Associated Press photographer at the scene the crowd were shouting on US troops and saying them to leave Afghanistan and they also burnt an effigy of Mr Obama. On the other hand the US President showed his condolences to the families of those who were killed by the protesters in Afghanistan.

US UNEMPLOYMENT RATE FALLS TO 8.8%

The US unemployment rate fell to a new two-year low in March to 8.8% which was 8.9% in February and this happened fourth time in a row monthly.The unemployment rate has fallen by just a point in percentage figures during the last four months which is not good for the common people but on the other hand a report by the US Department of Labor said that the employers created 216,000 jobs in March which is much more higher than the market expectations.The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) said that the index of national factory activity dipped to 61.2 last month which was 61.4 in February and this rate is the highest one since May 2004.

The economic news said that the good thing for today is , US and European stock markets were boosted  London, Paris and Frankfurt all went well with gains of more than 1.5% before getting closed while the Dow was up 1% in evening.
The new jobs offset in the private sector increases the job losses in the public sector which mainly results from the cuts made by the local government. The main cause of this according to the analysts is the possible impact of rise in the oil, energy prices and other commodities like food etc. In the start of this week the US Department of Commerce unexpectedly cut its estimate of last 3 months growth to an annualized rate of 2.8% which was 3.2% in the previous 3 months.


US government is also taking some measures to control this rise in the employment rate but it looks like that they are going to be failed as the present economic crisis surrounds the whole world. This is an alarming signal to the other        

countries as well that the conditions are going to be worst in the near future so make some appropriate measures to control all these happenings. Analysts are also saying that if all this go in the same manner then it will be very difficult for the poor people to survive under these circumstances.  

WARNING BY WORLD BANK AFTER HIGH FOOD PRICES

World Bank give a warning and says that prices of the important products like food and fuel are at unreachable level after which almost 44 million more people have been moved to the level of below poverty after June 2010 and it has also written in the report that the world economy could return to the darkness of the crisis of year 2008 if all this happenings. After the recession which hit the world in year 2009/10 , the food analysts are continuously saying that we have no doubt in calling the year 2011 to be a year of retardation.  

From last four months it is shameful to tell that the prices of food rose by 15% and never went good for those poor people who used to spend more than half of their income on food and caused a lot of deaths due to hunger as wheat's value get doubled in a time between June and January 2011 also maize prices were rose by 73%. The main factor of this rise in the food prices is the situation of Middle East which through its bad light on the whole world and also the bad business condition put the fuel on this fire during the bad time of Egypt which effect the common people.

The main question arises in the mind of every person that how this effect the world? and a simple answer to this question is that economists are saying that emerging countries will be able to expand only 6.0% this year and was 7.0% in 2010. There might be a chance as many people are saying that food prices in most developing countries have not increased as much but it is a fact and nobody can hide this that in poor countries it rose a lot. The second thing is that the growth of world economy is expected to rise by 3.6% rate for 2012, but now it seems to be very difficult to achieve that figure after this huge crisis.

AMERICAN DAVIS TAKES ANOTHER ONE

The Terrorist act done by Raymond Davis citizen of most peaceful country so called USA which has disturbed the peace of almost every country of the world. He killed Pakistani two civilians few days before at mazang road in Lahore. In response of which Shumaila, the widow of one of the two civilians shot dead in Lahore by Raymond Davis committed suicide after taking poisonous pills on Sunday. Shumaila was taken to Allied Hospital in Faisalabad where doctors tried their best to save her life but they were unable to recover her and she is now dead . Hospital sources have given a report regarding  Shumaila statement in which she said that I am committing suicide because I am not expecting justice in Raymond Davis case and i have a  fear that  Davis will be released without trial.Who is responsible for this shameful act now this is the question? Pakistani people are raising this  "We want blood for blood" .

A US National Davis, shot three persons dead and injured  another at Mazang Road in Lahore. Three people were killed when a US national opened fire on motorcycle riders and hit another with his car in an attempt to escape from the scene at Mazang Chowk. America which has tagged itself a peaceful country  and on the name of war against terrorism it is actually disturbing the peaceful environment of many countries by using the name of terrorism.Isn't it a terrorist act? In Afghanistan a Pakistani nationalist Dr Aafia Siddiqui was arrested just for that she only showed the gun to an American army personal for her safety and she was declared as terrorist and she is now in American custody and this person which is arrested with all proofs,American government is declaring it an accidental act and saying Pakistani Government to release him immediately. Is this your peacefulness? Isn't it a scheme or an accident?

A total of 181 people were killed in plane crashes in the Pakistan last year.On July 28, North of Islamabad, a 10-year-old Airbus A321 operated by Air-blue crashed into a spur of the Margalla hills during an attempt to land in a storm, killing 145 passengers and six crew.49 accidents recorded last year and the most dangerous places in which to fly were Pakistan and India.

An breaking news from the other part of the world (RUSSIA) where thousands of Russians have marched in protests demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin.The rally took place peacefully, but police arrested a separate group of 20 opposition activists nearby. About 60 protesters also were arrested in St. Peters-burg, one of a number of other cities where demonstrations were held.The marchers blithely ignored the restrictions. Marching down the city's main street, they chanted "Putin resign!". Some banners compared even compared the prime minister to Hitler. This is the sign of a new change in Russian government.

A disastarous earthquake which struck Pakistan and parts of India and Afghanistan on Saturday morning October 8, 2005. This was the massive earthquake in the South Asia during the last hundred years.

This earthquake was the most destructive disaster in the region. Reports indicated that about 80,000 people were killed and at least 50,000  were injured in the northern areas of Pakistan and thousands of houses were destroyed.
